At the upcoming AHR Expo in January, BAC will be featuring an IBC Compliant Series
3000 cooling tower. The IBC compliant tower is:
- Designed to meet
requirements of the 2006 International Building
Code (IBC) covering most US seismic applications
- Verified using
seismic testing at a certified independent dynamic
testing laboratory
- Available on
the Series 3000 and PT2 Cooling Towers.
The
IBC Compliant Tower has now been awarded -- the 2008
AHR Expo Innovation Awards Honorable Mention for
the "Cooling" category. The IBC Compliant Tower was
entered in the Cooling Category to foster the development
of more code compliant construction cooling towers.
Both
BAC and the IBC Compliant Cooling Tower will be featured
in the Show Directory, the AHR Expo website
and the ASHRAE Journal, as well as other publications.
