BAC uses only the highest quality drive components. All drive components are sized for a minimum service factor of 200% of the duty rating. Cast iron sheaves, used in centrifugal fan products, are constructed of fine-grain, high-tensile strength cast iron and are factory machined and balanced for smooth, vibration-free operation. Sheaves utilize taper-lock bushings which provide the gripping power of a shrink-fit for maximum power transmission.
