Alternate Materials of Construction

Corrosion and scale can affect both the life of your cooling tower and its thermal performance. There are retrofits available to upgrade older units with new corrosion-resistant materials of construction and with components that reduce the amount of time and labor required to maintain the proper water distribution.

Often, corroded galvanized steel panels can be replaced with panels made with a thermosetting hybrid polymer, that provides superior corrosion protection in most installations. If more protection is desired, components of Type 304 stainless steel are also available.
