The standard BAC coil is constructed of prime surface carbon steel tube manufactured by BAC. The coils are then hot-dip galvanized and are well suited for most refrigerants or fluids applied in a closed, pressurized system. The standard working pressure is rated at 300 psig (2,586 kPa). For special fluids and certain refrigerants, alternate materials of construction such as Type 304 stainless steel or copper are available. Other options include ASME “U” construction, extended surface finned coils, cleanable tubes and cleanable headers to handle a variety of applications.
